The Battle

The spiritual battle is raging, persistent and unwavering, it has been so for centuries, but the spiritual assault has intensified and has never been so pronounced. The evil one is everywhere, he has infiltrated the mind, the very manifestation of the soul. Rites and rituals that glorifies his name were guised as entertainment, while the unsuspecting had unknowingly participated. He fomented egocentricity. His bait are power, fame, and fortune. His pole is long and far reaching, seducing insatiable greed and constant obsession for materialism. He is gnawing away the very foundation of faith while building upon it the new idealism centered upon man with the exclusion of God. He patiently crept in all fronts, from within to without, he distracted the mind, triumphantly, he redefined want as need, consequently creating a massive hypnotic distraction, with the intent to veer all, away from the truth... from the true selves. He is leisurely tearing down the tie towards heaven. His weapon is silent; masked by altuism and benevolence, his method cunning, his offensive is gradual but deliberate, subtle, firmly obscured by the cloak of ambiguity and complexity. His ways are meticulous... intricately woven in fibers of trickery and treachery, all beyond the possibility of the human intellect, undeniably the trait and attributes of the great deceiver himself. He has made his tail visible in plain sight but only a few would want to notice. Through his servant, he aims to sever the mind and body from the spirit. His minions are orchestrating through the last leg of their evil timeline, and they are not too distant. He discreetly conduct the symphony of evil, all playing their instrument incessantly to the tune of eternal damnation. The powerful, the rich, the famous are his servants. Against such formidable foe, each must defend. Each must hold the line steadily while anchoring to the divine hand of the Lord Jesus Christ. Each must pray from the heart. Each must seek for consistent enlightenment, divine guidance and protection. Each must stand on and live by the word no matter what. Each must reject the spell of greediness. Each must nurture the spirit within, turn it from a divine ember to a blaze of his glory. It is the only hope and shield against the dreadfulness of the coming days in this Luciferian age.

Any avenue of approach in a war zone is a kill zone, be it an urban pave-ways or rural settings. Transcending Filipinism

The term Filipinism by itself is Filipinism. It is uncommon in usage internationally, but somehow it made its way to world dictionaries and may refer to usage resulting from literally translating Tagalog words into English. These are English usage peculiar to and used only by Filipinos. Turn on/ off the lights is spoken as Open/ Close the lights; CR or Comfort Rooms are used instead of Toilets (The word “Toilet” has sensibility issue and considered unhygienic); Napkins are referred to as Tissue; Canteen is used instead of Cafeteria; Colgate means Toothpaste even though it’s a Close-Up; Refrigerator is generally called Frigidaire: Xerox is to photocopy even if the machines in use are UBIX, Brothers, etc. The preceding examples demonstrate that Filipinism is beyond lingual.  It is about tradition, customary practice and generally accepted norms that manifest in  language and its usage.
