The Fourth Perspective

When I was a boy, my father used to say, "destiny not freewill, freewill not destiny". I have not forgotten those phrases as it occassionaly crosses my thoughts along my way. Accordingly, in my years of spiritual search, I may have found the reconciliatory statement regarding those phrases. Freewill is the most precious gift given by the divine to man. Its the freedom to choose. It is known as the power of the intellect. While destiny in spiritual sense is the divine plan for man. Are they different?  The difference lies in that destiny is preordained. It is the purpose for which an individual creation were brought into being. Some regard it as the calling. It is GOD's path that man need to cross. It is a journey towards GOD's plan for each man. However, the divine source has given man the power to choose, he may take an alternate path, a diiferent road. Man is free to deviate from GOD's purpose to earthly cause because he treat each man as children, not slaves. C

Given the intensifying situation at the West Philippine Sea, the lawmakers should instead move to remove any legal impediments that preclude the exercise of other viable options available, as offered by other countries.The backlog in the AFP modernization program is not a joke. The practice of procuring conventional weaponry through "tingi-tingi"(piecemeal) is a joke. It is indicative of ineptness and alienation on the part our lawmakers. They were oblivious to the unfolding scenario. The least they can do is align the law to the current paradigm and/or secure an emergency funding to implement and further the law which is the AFP modernization act. Shape up your honors.

The Jews were discriminated, incarcerated, victimized, oppressed, humiliated and killed by the Nazi. Those that survived the holocaust suffered terribly to persistent nightmares and trauma. They were broken and since then were no longer the same. They felt that they were no longer human beings, strip of that dignity. The irony is that they were doing the same thing to the Palestinians.

My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes,in undisturbed places of rest.- - - - -Isaiah 32:18 The Jews were the chosen people even before Christ was born. It is claimed that they have returned and are now settled in the relatively young State of Israel, that is supposedly the promised land. But Isaiah 32:18 made a guarantee of peace and security. Incontravention however, the State of Israel has been besieged by threat of violence, death and destruction eversince it was established.is it possible that the place where the State of Israel is situated is not the land that GOD intended for them? Is it also possible that its present inhabitants predominanly were not the chosen? What do you think? Comments are welcone.

It was a tragedy and still a tragedy in the making. Hamas has gone overboard. Their actuations were clearly motivated not by patriotism alone but by boiling anger. Such that their human side were vaporized into nothingness. They committed a sin against the law of men and the law of GOD. They will be punished, and its only a matter of time. Shocking however was the reaction of Israel that seems to have been equally deprived of reason and sobriety. Israel is a civilized state, a country subject to the rules laid under the Geneva convention and the Rome statute, all calling in summary for the respect in civilian lives and their rights inherent or as provided by the laws of men. Israel is supposed to be the chosen as it professes. But its reaction to Hamas attack can be compared to a man that had run amuck due to madness. It reduces itself to the level of Hamas. The physicality is governed by the natural law. But since GOD enacted it to maintain balance and harmony among all of his creation, he alone by his divine will can suspend, redirect or change its natural course and effect. In his words through his son, he made the assurance of divine intervention through faith. Lets take a look on some of the proof that attest to that promise to his children. Biblical passages are proverbial and methaphorical. Likewise it is subliminal. It was addressed to the non-corporeal essence of man and much less to his corporeal aspect, for the latter is subject to the rigors and pain of the natural law. Biblical passages are guides for the spirit of man, akin to a road but methaporically paved by Jesus's blood. The road leading towards resurrection and salvation. It is not a set of laws being imposed upon man. Rather, it is instructional, a curriculum in the school called earth. It is the embodiment of the absolute truth. It is a divine providence. Man may choose to abide or he may choose to forsake. In methaporical sense his choice would result either to convocation or repetition.  "As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance". - 1 Peter 1:14.

Our world, the entire universe and beyond, undisputably, are governed by natural law. It is the law that maintains order and balance in all aspect of material existence. It is the natural order of things. Nothing can be added and nothing can be taken. Water ftom the ground will precipitate into rain, back to its origin. Wind will travel across the globe, in various headings, concentration, tempetature and strenght, but it remains constant and contained. Volcanic sand may roll down up to the ocean and river floor and back up to the shores and banks in constant relocation. Same with eroded mountain soil down to the valleys and plains. Likewise, man and other living things are mere subjects under this law. A man's body is made up of 60% water, and 40% cells and tissues, that all the same will join the precipitation and the eartly soil in time. What comes up must come down. The pictures were taken from a mango tree. The first one showed the budding blossoms by the hundreds while the second showed the handful of fruits produced by those flowers, which was highly disproportionate, by any means. The first thing that came into mind was Charles Darwin's theory of "Natural Selection", "the elimination of the unfit and the survival of the fittest". Did the theory explain it? That the wide disparity between potentiality and actuality, specifically in the case of those mango flowers, was because most of those flowers were not strong enough to make it to the fruiting stage? Well, that is the essence of Darwin's theory, is it not? But what if we spray insecticides on those flowers? Truth is inconvenient, painful, even devastating. A lot of us tend to look the other way, in denial, and would rather maintain falsehood as the truth, even though the latter is staring right before our faces. Truth is a luxury a few can afford, an intolerable threat to the ego. It challenged tradition and norms handed through generations. It negated and distrespected the wisdom of the old. It wobbled the very foundation of institutions. Truth were sought and accepted only by some at times when it becomes essential for survival. But the truth is... truth dwell in each man. It made up the man's inner core. Conscience is a manifestation of truth struggling to break free. If we want to search for truth, we should start looking into our innermost being. "Even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you".     -John 14:17.

 Honor thy Father and thy Mother"was the fifth commandment given unto Moses. It is the commandment with an express mainstream benefit. Exodus 20:12-."Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee". Longevity in the promised land is the guaranteed reward for honoring the Father and the Mother. This is the literal connotation. But the word of GOD has dual meaning, literal and spiritual. The word of GOD has both worldly and spiritual message, the former, was to facilitate basic understanding through direct correlation with typical circumstances that surrounded man's bodily existence, while the latter was the intended sense which man needs to focus on, in order to grasp GOD's true plan and purpose for each one. So what is the spiritual equivalent of " Honor thy Father and thy Mother"? Long life? In the land given? The Father, refers to our Father in heaven, the source, the light, the all. The M

The arbitration court in Luxembourg ruled in favor of the heirs of the Sultanate of Sulu awarding them 14.9 billion US Dollars, representing unpaid rent for Sabah. Malaysia has de facto control over Sabah but the court's decision legally established Sabah's ownership, that of the Sultanate. The court issued seizure order against Malaysian assets overseas, including Petronas, a Malaysian state oil firm. The Philippine claim over Sabah is now standing on the less watery ground, eversince the sovereign right over Sabah was assigned to the Philippines by the Sultanate via a 1962 accord.

China was a signatory and had ratified the UNCLOS. However, its actuations and policy direction was substantially a departure ftom the UNCLOS provisions. In particular, China had refused to participate in the Hague arbitration initiated by the Philippines and dishonored the subsequent ruling that declared its claim over the whole of South China sea as illegal and baseless. The irony is that China has not withdrawn from UNCLOS. The probable reason is that China still need and will use the other provision of UNCLOS to consolidate and solidify its claim, specifically the 200 nautical miles exclusive economic zone clause/s. If China will succeed in dissecting the West Philippine Sea from the Scarborough Shoal to Ayungin Reef,  additional reclamation for new artificial islands can be made. And from these artificial islands it will declare a 200 nautical miles exclusive economic zone base on UNCLOS, practically eating away the Philippine exclusive economic zone which may include oil and gas

There ought to be law providing prescription on arbitrary detention. Take the case of Leila de Lima. She has been in detention since 2017 or about 6 years already. If the evidence tilt to guilt, the court must render its verdict. The burden of proof is in the prosecutor. Doubt should be a major consideration. The constitution says a suspect is presumed innocent unless proven otherwise. Six years is quite long for the court and the prosecution to prove her guilt. Meanwhile, a person presumed innocent is already suffering the penalties of the crime. The law ought to castigate the judges and legal parties for their failure to resolve the case at the expense of the accuse. The law ought to charge them with neglect and dereliction of duty and the case be regarded as whimsical. The bottomline is that the court must sentence her, or release her pronto. When we went out there in the wild, the beaches, rivers, lakes and sea. When we traversed the mountain trail, or explored the uncharted jungle. When we camped out amid the sound of birds and rustling leaves. We became ecstatic. Our mood changed. The feeling of serenity and tranquility took over our senses. Suddenly our eyes recognized and appreciated the natural wonders. There was familiarity and comfort even without the amenities of modern living. Our mind wandered in unfathomable pleasure, as if, we were peeking, through the door of freedom. We slided in to being soulish. Why is that? Maybe because we are connected to it. We are a part of it and it is a part of us. The ecstacy, the feeling of oneness, is the point of reconnection with GOD's creation.
