The connection

When we went out there in the wild, the beaches, rivers, lakes and sea. When we traversed the mountain trail, or explored the uncharted jungle. When we camped out amid the sound of birds and rustling leaves. We became ecstatic. Our mood changed. The feeling of serenity and tranquility took over our senses. Suddenly our eyes recognized and appreciated the natural wonders. There was familiarity and comfort even without the amenities of modern living. Our mind wandered in unfathomable pleasure, as if, we were peeking, through the door of freedom. We slided in to being soulish. Why is that? Maybe because we are connected to it. We are a part of it and it is a part of us. The ecstacy, the feeling of oneness, is the point of reconnection with GOD's creation. Most of us believed that the high rise, cemented pavements and manicured urban jungle are the mark of true civil living. In some way, it might be. On the other hand, none had suspected, that it desynthesized and alienated us from the whole. The man made wonder had barred us from associating with our nature. It was the point of disconnection. We believed we belong to the urban landscape, but do we?
